Stupid Trivia
The Heat won tonight. I can either rant about my frustration that Spoelstra was incapable of realizing before tonight that shaking up the lineup is a good idea for a struggling team, or I can let it go. I can either complain about the fact that James Jones, the man the Heat owes at least $6 million to after this season, is getting absolutely no floor time despite shooting 42% from three-point land, or I can move on. I’m going to take the high road.
Instead here’s a completely unrelated, irrelevant but perhaps easy trivia question:
Suppose you’re on a game show, and you’re given the choice of three doors: Behind one door is a prize you get to keep if you choose correctly; behind the others is nothing. You pick a door, say No. 1. Before revealing what’s behind your selected door, the host, who knows what’s behind the doors, opens another door, say No. 3, which has nothing. He then asks you, “Do you want to pick door No. 2?” Is it to your advantage to switch your choice?
